Recommended by a fellow dog owner. Charlie has been eating the salmon and thoroughly enjoying it. He is yet to try the chicken, but I am sure it will be equally delicious for him.

I bought this for my 14 year old collie to help weight control and arthritis. He enjoys his meals and is keen to go on walks. It is such a relief to find an affordable quality product that is fish based for mature dogs. I was also delighted that my order was processed and delivered so promptly.

Bought this variety to see if will help keep weight gain down while on steroid treatment for lymphoma. No change yet but early days and Molly likes it, especially with a drop of warm gravy ratings given are based on stupid enquiries. How would I know if it was tasty or nutritious.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Autarky Mature Lite Dog Food, including answers from our team.
Dawn
Is this suitable for wheat and grain free dogs .
Succulent Salmon is a wheat-gluten and soya free diet providing a moderate calorie content to help maintain body condition in older dogs, dogs prone to weight gain or overweight adult dogs.

My 11 yr old spaniel has white fish and potato at present grain free, I thinking about changing him to a mature lite kibble as want to watch his weight although he is well exercised. He has a problematic stomach HGE 2019 . He’s fine but have to be careful . Is the chicken and salmon grain free or won’t this matter ?
Thanks

Advised to feed 10year old mini schnauzer low fat 7% food due to previous pancreatitis.
Will this be suitable please?
This food contains 7% fat which is considered low and suitable for a dog with pancreatitis. However you should run it's use past your vet, some affected dogs can be set off even by the slightest dietary change. Only your vet can say for certain if this will be safe.

Can I feed my 5 year old dog this food
This diet is intended for use in dogs 7 years and older. It is unlikely to do any harm in younger dogs but it is not the best choice. It is advised to use the Autarky Adult Dog Food in your 5 year old pet.
Sue Dobbs
Can you confirm protein levels on chicken and salmon are just 17% please?
Protein levels are quoted as being 17% for chicken flavour but 22% for the salmon version. These are both lower than the normal adult products.
