Brilliant product which really helped my rabbits sore hocks to heal. His foot was badly inflamed for 2 months after he injured his heal which got infected and he had been limping for 2 weeks. Within 24 hours of applying the Aniwell Active Manuka Honey Cream the swelling had gone and he was no longer limping in pain. It also helped to draw out pus.
The cream was easy to apply and not too sticky. I would definitely recommend for sore hocks and open wounds.

Can this be used on my pregnant dogs ears?
Yes absolutely.

My dog has an area of superficial pyoderma on his face which my vet has advised to wipe twice daily with CLX wipes and then apply Savlon cream to the area.
I worry Savlon is a bit harsh on his skin so was interested if this cream would be a good alternative due to its anti-bac properties.
Manuka Honey is a great antibacterial gel that also nutritionally supports the skin, aiding wound healing. It will be suitable for the use you describe however you should always follow your vet's advice primarily, running any treatment plan changes past them.

Is this product lick friendly. It has been excellent healer for my dog but wonder if it’s safe on areas he may lick
Licking of this product is unlikely to cause any issues however the product will not work as intended if licked off. The directions for use state the following regarding this:
Apply onto a dressing or covering the area with a dressing may be required if likely to be rubbed or licked off.

I would be grateful to learn if this product is recommended for the use of an open wither wound?
I would be grateful to learn what you would recommend to use to clean the wound prior to application? Please note, I am currently using saline solution to clean and Veterinus Derma Gel for the healing process.
Many thanks
You will never go far wrong with cleaning an open wound using normal saline solution. It is usually as good as anything, though very dirty, infected wounds might respond better to something like Dermisol solution. I am sure it will be fine to continue with the saline though. Afterwards, the honey might well be beneficial. It is certainly quite an appealing and trendy treatment these days, but there is significant scientific support for its use too. It might work very well on the wound you are treating but it is difficult for me to say without seeing it, or knowing how it arose. To be sure, you should discuss this with your own vet first.

Horse has been treated with antibiotics and anti inflammatories. The scabs have been removed. Horse is being kept in until skin has healed. Will this cream help with healing of cracks/sores? Or is there anything else you can recommend.
The treatment provided so far will hopefully be effective, but this cream is usually appropriate for this type of problem and should indeed help as well. It is always worth checking with your own vet before trying any additional treatment, but it should be fine to use.

can you use active Manuka honey cream to human skin?
Theoretically you certainly can, but we are not able to give medical advice for humans and so you should talk to your doctor or a pharmacist.

Would you advise the use of this on a deep laceration of a horses hind leg. The cut has been stitched, however the vet is unsure whether they will actually stay, due to the location. Currently bandaged and no cream being used, just antibiotics and bute.
This cream might well help and it is worth using. Changing bandages regularly is also advised.

my dog has allergies and itches her lips/mouth. can this be used safely on dogs lips.
Yes this is safe to use on lips and around the mouth, but inevitably it will tend to be licked off before it has had much chance to do its job. You can try it and hopefully it will help. (It is vaguely possible that consuming the honey will have a beneficial effect on the allergies, but that is another story.)

Is this product suitable for a cat in an area which he is licking persistently - I know that many products may be toxic to cats? Thank you for your help.
This is safe enough for cats to lick, though repeated licking is often a big part of the problem with this sort of situation. You might be able to cover the area, or apply it at a time when the cat is distracted by other things (feeding etc). The honey itself is not a problem though.
